SSES is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Older Americans Act for FY2025 – beginning October 1, 2024 and ending September 30, 2025. Programs will be funded for the following: Title III B, Supportive Services and Medical Access Transportation Program: as well as Title III D, Health Promotion Evidence-Based Services. South Shore Elder Services reserves the option to roll over grants for one additional year. Collaboration with other community agencies is encouraged.

The Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MassNAELA) is a non-profit voluntary association whose members consist of a dedicated group of elder law and special needs attorneys across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. MassNAELA was incorporated in 1992, to serve the legal profession and the public with the following mission: To Educate, inspire, serve, advocate, and provide community to attorneys with practices in elder and special needs law.

It was a drizzly June morning when we first arrived at Watson Field to celebrate Braintree Pride and the field was abuzz with excitement as eager vendors set up their canopies and put out their wares. South Shore Elder Services had a fantastic spot located right by the front entrance of the festival and our table was fully staffed and stocked; we were ready to go.
