Legal Notice-Title IIIB/MAP FY18
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: South Shore Elder Services, Inc. has issued a Request for Proposal for the Supportive Services Program and Medical Access Transportation Program. Federal funds will be awarded under the Title III B/MAP of the Older Americans Act for FY18- beginning October 1, 2017 and ending September 30, 2018. South Shore Elder Services reserves the option to roll over grants for one additional year.
Programs will be funded for Access Supportive Services: ACCESS – increasing access to information and services through outreach to isolated, special needs and racially and culturally isolated individuals/groups; legal services; LGBT services; transportation medical access; IN-HOME – minor home repair, seasonal assistance e.g., snow shoveling, friendly visitor/companionship, in-home counseling. Collaboration with other community agencies is encouraged.
Potential applicants must submit a letter of intent by May 8, 2017. Full grant applications are due by 5:00 pm on June 1. Applications may be obtained at a Bidder’s Conference on May 9 at 10:15 AM, 1515 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184. Attendance at the Bidder’s Conference is strongly encouraged. Application packets will be available at that time. Full grant applications are due by 5:00 pm, June 1, 2017.
